Highlight or underline a word or sentence in a foreign-language book, then snap a photo in WordLenz. The app finds the marked expression, automatically detects its language, and explains its meaning, nuance, and example sentences in the language you choose. Each saved expression is scheduled for spaced-repetition review.
You get 20 free analyses to try the app. After that you can subscribe to a monthly or yearly plan for a set number of analyses per month, or make a one-time “Bring Your Own Key” (BYOK) unlock to use your own AI key without limits. Manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in your App Store / Google Play account settings.
After unlocking BYOK, go to Settings → AI provider, choose a provider (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Qwen), and paste your own API key. Your key is stored only in your device's secure storage and is never sent to our servers.
On a new device or after reinstalling, open Settings → Restore Purchases. Your subscription and BYOK unlock are tied to your store account and will be restored.
Your words, books, and review schedule are stored on your device (there is no account). To move them, use Settings → Export Data to create a backup file, then Import Data on the other device. Note: the backup file includes any API keys in plain text — keep it private.
Go to Settings → Language. The interface and all explanations follow the language you pick. The source-book language is detected automatically.

단어·책·복습 일정은 계정 없이 기기에 저장됩니다. 이전하려면 설정 → 데이터 내보내기로 백업 파일을 만든 뒤 다른 기기에서 데이터 가져오기를 사용하세요. 백업 파일에는 API 키가 평문으로 포함되니 안전하게 보관하세요.
설정 → 언어에서 바꿀 수 있습니다. 화면과 모든 해석이 선택한 언어를 따릅니다. 원서 언어는 자동으로 감지됩니다.
