WordLenz is built to minimize the data we handle. There is no login, no account, and no personal profile — we never ask for your name, email, or password. Almost everything you create stays on your device. This policy explains the few cases where data leaves your device.
On first launch, the app's purchase layer (RevenueCat) generates a random anonymous ID for your installation. It is not linked to your name, email, Apple/Google account, or any personal information, and it is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. We use it only to (a) know which plan you are on and (b) count how many free analyses you have used. Reinstalling the app generates a new anonymous ID.
To interpret a highlighted word or sentence, the relevant image or text is sent over HTTPS for AI processing. Where it goes depends on your plan:
We do not keep copies of the images or text you analyze.
Subscriptions and the one-time BYOK unlock are processed by the Apple App Store / Google Play billing systems and managed through RevenueCat. We receive only your purchase status (which plan is active) tied to your anonymous ID — never your payment card or billing address, which are handled entirely by Apple/Google.
When you explicitly use Export Data, WordLenz creates a single backup file and lets you save it through the system share sheet (Files, iCloud, Google Drive, etc.). This file contains your API keys (if any) in plain text — keep it private. We never receive this file.
WordLenz contains no advertising and no third-party tracking or analytics SDKs. RevenueCat and our proxy are used only for purchases and AI processing as described above — never for profiling, advertising, or selling data.
WordLenz is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly.

구독과 일회성 BYOK 해제는 Apple App Store / Google Play 결제 시스템으로 처리되며 RevenueCat으로 관리됩니다. 우리는 익명 ID에 연결된 구매 상태(어떤 요금제가 활성인지)만 받으며, 결제 카드나 청구 주소는 받지 않습니다(전적으로 Apple/Google이 처리).
데이터 내보내기를 실행하면 단일 백업 파일이 생성되어 시스템 공유 시트(파일, iCloud, Google Drive 등)로 저장할 수 있습니다. 이 파일에는 API 키(있는 경우)가 평문으로 포함되므로 안전하게 보관하세요. 당사는 이 파일을 수신하지 않습니다.
WordLenz에는 광고나 제3자 추적·분석 SDK가 전혀 없습니다. RevenueCat과 프록시는 위에 설명한 결제·AI 처리 용도로만 사용되며, 프로파일링·광고·데이터 판매에 사용되지 않습니다.
WordLenz는 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다.
본 방침은 갱신될 수 있으며, 변경 시 상단의 "Last updated" 날짜가 갱신됩니다.
